    Stand-up comedy in Montreal

Hey everyone! I'm heading to Montreal for the weekend and I thought it would be cool to go see stand-up. I've never been to a live show before, but I've always wanted to see something like this live, not on YouTube. Does anyone know of any good clubs that have shows in English? And where you can get a decent snack, not just drinks.

Comedyville is one of the best places to see stand-up in Montreal. They host professional stand-up shows in English every week, mostly on weekends. The club is located right in Gare Centrale, so it's easy to get there, and there's parking nearby. I was there recently and I can say that the atmosphere is great: friendly, cozy, and the jokes are great. Another plus is that the food is great! You can order pizza, pasta, burgers, or the famous Montreal smoked meat. My friends and I stayed after the show and had a quiet dinner. It's very convenient, you don't have to run around the city looking for a restaurant. I recommend checking out the schedule here: stand up comedy shows Montreal. The shows feature local comedians, and they really know how to make you laugh!

I completely agree! My wife and I went to Comedyville last week - we haven't laughed so much in a long time. The shows last about an hour and a half, but the time flies. The comedians are professionals, you can see that they know their audience and can adapt to any kind of humor. I especially liked that the hall is small and cozy, without unnecessary pathos.
